It may work better if you put 40ft of coax on the internal antenna
as well.  The extra length may be throwing off the timing too much.
The R52Hn may think it is rejecting a reflection when it hears
traffic on the outdoor antenna.

If you locate antennas in different locations, I would use different
cards for each antenna.
