style(9) is about much more than security, of course.

The queue(3) macros have proven to be correct, even in corner cases
that people sometimes get wrong when they try to write their own, and
they have clear and documented meanings, making it easier to the next
person to understand the intent of the surrounding code.

Lower costs for both writer and reader: why *wouldn't* you use them
where they fit?
