There are two dozen mirrors with base *43.tgz and at least the binary packages for i386 and amd64 by now, the rest are progressing gradually. You can check which ones at http://spacehopper.org/up2date.html and help spread the load. (apologies to landry@ for the horrible way I hacked up your mirror checking script for this ;-)
