Hello Viraj. I suppose that the keyboard is contextual across apps. While using hangout for example, the emoji key is present where return key is normally located. This key brings up a comprehensive list of emojis which are perfectly readable by talkback. One solution is to install a dedicated emoji keyboard . As far as alternative letters are concerned, they are probably characters used by languages like French and German etc
