i have forever cautioned people to be careful when buying posters from scans only that have been put on linen.

Consider this ebay item:

The description states:  "Poster is very good-excellent condition mounted on linen."

Is it my computer, the lighting, or are all the many white spots on the poster restoration ???

i just emailed the Canadian seller the following question,   "please tell me what all the white spots on the poster are.....  is that restoration, paint, or what?  THANK YOU."

Although i collect hitchcock, i would only buy the one sheet if it was at a bargain price, since i own the insert and have it framed.   (((this falls in line with the subject that I posted yesterday about ebay sale days)))

Your thoughts?
