23rd Annual Detroit Lakes Festival of Birds will be held May 20-22 with virtual presentations and in-the-field birding. Virtual sessions include Warbler I.D. by Kevin Karlson, Hawk I.D. with Mike Havlik, SPRUCE Climate Change Experiment with Randy Kolka, Birds of Prey photographic celebration by Kevin Karlson and festival conclusion with humorist Al Batt. Field trips remaining open include Felton Prairie and Hamden Slough National Wildlife Refuge.
