Hi all, After fixing a serious bug in the division code brought to light by the MPFR test suite, I have uploaded alpha5 to our website (http://mpir.org) ready for testing.
I'll hopefully finish our internal testing soon and we can begin the beta release cycle for MPIR 2.7.0. Hopefully MPIR 2.8.0 won't be far behind either. It will catch up to the GMP 6 interface (sans crypto as usual) and incorporate the fast GMP powm code which JP Flori has backported to MPIR.
