I'll ask for the full MPIR build log...

P.S.: As Tikanga is dead old (and hence presumably a dead old GCC was used) and regarding the build time before the error occurred, I guess Sage's GCC 4.7.3 first got built, so I think the error refers to (re)building MPIR with that.

I'm trying to build Sage 6.2 (latest version from
http://www.sagemath.org/) from the source distribution.

After running "make", it built for an hour before failing when trying to
build
package: mpir-2.6.0.p4.

A section of the mpir-2.6.0.p4 log file containing the error is below.
I'm trying to make sage in redhat version 5.7 Tikanga. The system is
64Bit, CPU is an Intel Xeon processor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!
