I post in this older thread since I have exactly the same problem with the OP.
My system is an Arch Linux x86-64, fully updated. gcc version 4.9.1 20140903 (prerelease) MPIR 2.6.0 The test that failed is mpz/t-scan and the corresponding log file only says: FAIL: t-scan (exit: 139) Please advise if I can be of more help.
