You ask about Farsi systems. As you will see from the
"Compendium of translation software" on the EAMT website (www.eamt.org)
there are to my knowledge only electronic dictionaries available:
Language Teacher (Ectaco)
Phrasebook (Lernout & Hauspie)
Universal Translator (LanguageForce)
WebTrans (Lernout & Hauspie)
None are free; none are on-line.
Universal Translator "claims" to be more than a dictionary.
The L&H products are probably now unavailable.
Only Phrasebook and Universal Translator cover Farsi-Japanese
in theory.
