Dear Friends & Family,
We just wanted to send an email to you all to let you know how thankful we
are to have you in our lives. Thanksgiving has us giving thought to all we
are blessed with, and what we hold near & dear in our hearts.
The month of November has a special meaning to Roger & me, as it was
the month in which we first met four years ago. I never
imagined that that meeting would lead to marriage and two beautiful
daughters! How blessed I am!!!
Nicholas turns 17 years old on the 29th, and I enjoy telling Nick that
discovering I was expecting him was the happiest moment of my entire life.
There is just something special about becoming a mother for the first
time. Of course, each of my children are special in their own ways.
Emma is thriving at Woodford's preschool, and a discussion today with staff
there has really provided so much encouragement that she will have a great
outcome. That she may possibly be able to lead a normal, or near-normal
life. We think she's pretty perfect anyway!
Kaysa ia also thriving! She is a sweetie, and we love her so
much. Emma & Kaysa adore each other, and it does our hearts
good.
Jacob continues to get straight A's.......I am so proud. And he is
some glad that football season is over until next August! (He's
always concerned about having enough time to hit the books!)
We are all very concerned about Alan Michael's risky surgery next month up
to EMMC....for his severe scoliosis. We have full faith in Dr. Greene's
expertise.
Nick just had surgery #4 on his left arm last Thursday at EMMC....he
now has some hardware as keepsakes. (Dr. Greene had to remove a couple of
screws.)
We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving......and a thank you to all
of you who have touched our lives in special ways...
