Im using the latest Nessus with the latest Nessus linux client. I have problems
testing
computers that use firewalls. It doesnt find out the ports that are actually open,
rather
it checks for a quick moment then reports that the host is dead. Is there anyway I can
force it to do a complete port scan and report the open ports and test for
vulnerabilities
instead of this false report that the host is dead. Keep in mind Im using the Linux
client
and not a Win client so please if you have any ideas refer to the Linux configuration
of
things.

Thanks.
