nessus-mkcert generates the certificates. Are you running the program as
root? You'll need to to have the proper permissions. Also, did you
install nessus to someplace other than /usr/local? If so, try looking
there for the certificates.

All,

I am trying to install version 1.2.3 of Nessus onto a Redhat Linux 7.3
machine, and am having some problems when I run "nessus-mkcert". When I run
this program, I get the errorlog I've tacked onto the end of this message.

It indicates that the file /usr/local/com/nessus/cacert.pem does not exist,
and sure enough it isn't there. I have uninstalled, and re-installed nessus
but this file does not seem to get created. I tried creating a blank file
with that name, but it did not like that either. What am I doing wrong, or
how do I get a proper "cacert.pem" file generated, or should
"nessus-mkcert"
be doing this??

                    Thanks,

                    Joe
