i had nessus running just fine on jaguar, but it won't compile on panther. i have tried 2.0.9 and 2.0.10, with the edit in nessus-libraries proposed at nessus.org.
basically, nessus-core is not compiling, but exiting during the make with a gcc error about how the option -b needs to come at the beginning of the line.
of course i can provide the logs, but i didn't want to spam the list. i'm just trying to figure out if i am the only one with this problem, in which case i should probably try reinstalliing over my next school break..
the panther install is clean, but i did have fink installed at one point (as a side note, it sucks that the packages in fink are so out of date). everything else that i have compiled runs fine.
thanks,
g
