I did the work on it as a test model, but never fully finished it.  In
particular, I'd have wanted to do a good code review before declaring it
done.

The trickiest bit was getting the user name from the SSH agent to the
snmpd application.  That's where the whole sendmsg() routine comes in,
as it is the preferred method of sending the user name (uid, actually)
to the other application.  But it's likely only supported on some
systems, and it doesn't look like OSX is one of them?
