There is no useful test server or echo server that I know of -- attempts to
provide one seem not to have succeeded in the past.
What version of NM are you running? Similar problems in the past have been
caused by faulty Direct Sound implemetations ( could be either end) - NMSE -
( http://www.netmeeting-zone.com/nmse/asp ) will turn off Direct Sound in
V2. Do you have the latest drivers for your sound card? I think also some
sound cards do not support the sampling rate that NM uses ( this I think is
unlikely with recent sound cards).
