I played around with the registry settings as suggested, and now my
directory is invisible entirely! Or at least, it start in minimised
mode when launched, and can then be maximised, but won't accept
anything in between.
Any ideas?
Can I restore the default settnigs somehow?
Ben

As far as I know this setting is not registry based -- there is no way
to
make it persist across startups ( there should be though I agree - a
number
of these non-sticky settings were made sticky -- perhaps due to my
complaining ( whining?) during the beta -- this is one that they
didn't do
anything about)

This is a bug ( or limitation) of the activex component -- I don't
think you
can change the size -- 3.01 4.4.3396 ( the version with Winme)
corrects
this problem ( it just doesn't change the size of the video underneath
or
the viewed area though so the result is still not what you want)
