as far as I know you can pick the default wm with a utility it was under
kde/settings/something... I don't quite remember and my box is at home...
but it's there...

Subject: [newbie] RedHat 6.0 revisited

I just installed RedHat 6.0 on my system and I'm pretty impressed with it!
I can only imagine what Mandrake 6.0 will be like when released!! :)

I noticed some of you had tried RH6 and was wondering if you knew how to
change the "default" X Windows Manager when you use the XDM to log in? The

default is Gnome, of course. I don't mind having to manually switch to KDE,

but would like to know how to make it the default without having to go
through the extra "work". I've only looked at Gnome for a brief moment
(when I decided to see which X was "default") and it looks basically like a
"Gnome-ified" version of KDE.

:) Hope someone can help.

Thanks!
Arnold
