To get back to Win95, get an emergency boot disk (if you know someone who
has Win9x, it's basically go to control panel | Add/Remove programs |
startup disk) This will allow you to boot to a dos prompt, at which time,
you issue the command "fdisk /mbr" and that will wipe out LILO and any
chance of booting Linux. Now, I'd re-install Linux and see if you can get it
to work right. :-)
Don't have a clue as to why it won't finish booting for you, but at least I
can get you back to being able to use ONE of the two operating systems
there... :-)
