Yes I have run fsck, e2fsck, with every switch except the one -b which I
cant figure out the syntax to run it and it has never shown an error.I did
get that rc-2 error but I can't find the problem.  Could there be some kind
of  a lock file here which is making this boot into an unmounted file
system?  If so where?
I have run this from a floppy I can run e2fsck from the console but if I run
fsck from the command line I get a segmentation fault, but if I run e2fsck
it runs but reports no problems.
