Well I know nothing of "Socketwatch", but for Linux I use ntpdate in a cron job run twice a day to synchronise my clock to atomic reference clocks. It is on the ntp RPM. In a cron job the command /usr/sbin/ntpdate -s ntp0.nl.net ntp2.fau.de (Webmin is a convenient way to set up Cron jobs) derek
