most folks would find that internet connection sharing set up with the 
mandrake control center is quite secure, especially for a small home network, 
but it depends on the type and ampount of locks you like on the door. if you 
feel secure with just a locking door knob, and a dead bolt on the front door, 
connection shareing is good for you. If (on the other hand) you need a gate 
guard manned by armed Military Police, dead bolts and a guard with the key at 
the front door, as well as a floor safe to hide the "family jewels", then 
there is a bit of reading in your future....
