Does anyone know if its possible to rsync my beta4 CD's to RC1 or the final
release, (when it gets here?\) if only a dozen packages were changed, it'd
be cool if I didn't have to download the whole iso's again.

Yes, it's a later version with bug fixes for beta 4.

I read on this list september 13 is the _intended_ release date for LM9.0 .
