Now reread my e-mail, it was sent tongue-in-cheek. We know full well our
country and system also is not perfect, but at least we have a chance to try
to do something about it. If you look at the census you will find that the
America you seem to dispise is made up of all nationalities, races, and
creeds. We try to be tolerant but like any society we have the racists and
the nobs. And imperfect as our system is the law is for all Americans.
America is a work in progress. Whether we blindly follow Bush or not remains
to be seen. Most of the people I know are asking where is the information
that says we must bomb or on what basis does he think we are threatened. So
far he has not made his case to the people. And that is what we have to make
him present, the facts and the need, because in the end it is my sons who
could die in war. We are also concerned about the actions he is taking and
it may show up in the forthcoming elections, we will see.
My father told me: " do not debate politics or religion, it is a debate that
you can not win" So with that I will say no more and hope that the rest of
us can do the same, back to the business of linux.
