The /dev/usbmouse and /dev/psaux problems with some Logitech mice have been <ahem> notorious in the 9.0 beta cycle. However, they're finally sorted. (As far as I can tell they're to do with mouse support in the 2.4.18 and early 2.4.19 kernels, not with USB per se: so the camera will surely be OK). I'd advise you to stick to using the PS/2 connector until (if) you upgrade. Alastair
