Thanks Derek - all's now well. On last question, though. When I had dial-up I used the little graph display so that I could see activity. Now I have networked adsl, and when nothing seems to move while MandrakeUpdate is fetching, I'm leeft wondering if anything is happening. Is there anything that I could use - perhaps measuring network activity? - to tell that it's on the way?
