I have a Kouwell SCSI card using the Initio 9100AU chipset. When attempting to install Mandrake 9.0, it locked up solid loading the Initio driver. I tried Mandrake 8.2, the same. I was able to install Mandrake 8.2 using the linux noprobe option.
However, this does not work with 9.0, it still attempts to (and lcoks up) load the Initio driver. What's the best way around this? I've got 8.2 up and running, but would really like to go with 9.0.....
