Let me be a bit clearer on this, you need the /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg file which holds all the connection information, there may be an easier way but I then overwrite the /var/lib/urpmi directory with the new stuff (this holds the lists for the sources set-up in the config file), and then do an urpmi.update -a. I tried it before I did the urpmi.update and it didn't work for some reason, but once I updated it, it was fine. I have only done this twice so far, but it seems to work fine though.
