I am presuming that mandrake works just like any other distro' when
run in another level other than 3 you cant quit X, you may logout,
but you will get the login prompt on the screen again.
You should however be able to use ctrl-alt-F1 or 2 or 3 etc to get to
a console, there you could try typing init 3 which is the normal
runlevel. I give no garuntee that that will work as i dont have
mandrake "yet".
