[newbie] Mandrake 9.0 Installation Error

I'm a Linux newbie, and I'm installing Mandrake 9.0 PowerPack Edition on a Sony Vaio FX170 Laptop.
 
During the IDE/SCSI detection early in the installation, I get the following error message:
