Yeah, I've had the same problem too, Birger. It was with Mandrake 8.2 on an old box (at least 3 years old)... Would get to a certain point in the install and would say insert next cd. I would put in the next cd only to have it give me the same error message... and again...and again... Quite frustrating! I haven't exactly been following this entire thread, but have you tried a different cd drive (if thats possible) ?
