There is only ONE way to make netscape in Linux look totally awesum. Install you windowz fonts in Linux.

To do this:
1. Copy windows TT fonts to /usr/lib/X11/fonts/ttfonts
2. Run "ttmkfdir fonts.dir" from the above directory.
3. Edit the resulting fonts.dir file so it only includes iso-8859-1 char set fonts. Also be sure to change the first line of fonts.dir to show the actual number of fonts u have listed. You can run "wc -l fonts.dir" to count them.
4. Save fonts.dir of course
5. Reboot or re-start the font server
6. In netscape, choose True-Type fonts and sized you wish. Leave font-scaling un-checked. Also check use document specified fonts, including dynamic fonts.

That will make netscape display beautiffully, and I recommend everyone does that.

Is there any way that the fonts in netscape can look a little nicer, so they are a little smoother like the ones in Windows?  Any info is appreciated.
