Hi,
I just did a fresh install of Mandrake 9.0 and my computer freezes up when I try to boot from the hard drive. It gets as far as the message "INIT: Loading version 2.83" (just before the interactive mode message would normally appear) and then it dies. Booting failsafe I get the same problem, but my boot disk works fine.
I have an Athlon 750 (or thereabouts; been a while since I looked at it) with 128M of RAM.
Any ideas what the problem could be?

Could this be a nobiospnp problem, if so add it to the append= line, between the " ", ensuring there is a space between each seperate command.
