cat /etc/ld.so.conf (?)

Mine is as follows:

/usr/lib
/usr/local/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/lib/qt3/lib
/usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.0.0/post
/usr/lib/wine

System path:

set | more

I always modify the /etc/profile to point to certain dirs for
executables - especially for testing.
