Hi, yes they are on CD and that appears to be part of the problem. I have user
permissions on the cdrom but it just hangs trying to access. So I moved the
mp3s to the hard drive and gave everyone permissions and they will play from
xmms from the hard drive. I have a 52x cdrom player but must be a permissions
problem for access there. I keep looking for the cdrom answer, but will play
them from the hd happily. Any ideas as to the problem. Femme gave me the
clue to at least get to them. Oh, the tunes are Andrea Segovia, Chet Atkins,
and Los Indios Tabajaras. I like classical and modern, for lack of a better
word, guitar, hey. : )
