Hi, I have a ALS4000 sound card
Mandrake did 9.0 pick up and it worked fine.
Mandrake 9.1 seem to pick it but does not install?? / configure??? it.
Going thruogh control center - its there - but no dice.
Are you sure it's a lack of detection/configuration and not the notorious aumix mute problem? Run aumix and unmute channels if necessary. If that doesn't work, try dropping out of X and running sndconfig.
