mplayer, install the Mandrake rpms and get the win32 and QT codecs from mplayer's d/l page http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/ -or- Get the mplayer rpms for your mandrake version from PLF, http://plf.zarb.org/ The win32-codec rpm there includes the QT codecs. Get the mencoder rpm too while you're there. xine will also play QT .mov's, but mplayer has very much more functionality, contrast, brightness, tint, color level, and sound volume adjustments, on the fly while the .mov is playin if you use the command line version, not the GUI frontend. Also, usin mplayer's mencoder, you can edit, re-size, crop, etc. movie files or create your own. If you also install Mandrake's kmplayer rpm you can configure your browser to use it to play QT streams from web pages. At least with Konqueror. I haven't tried it with other browsers. -- Tom Brinkman Corpus Christi, Texas
