Hi stephen,

I had a cannon camera scanned twice on a recent trip to the Netherlands,
and it didn't hurt anything.

I have also known may people who have done the same.

what happens, or what's the mechanics behind what you said?

I'm curious :-)

She didn't, by chance, have the CF card xray'ed when she was travelling,
ya reckon?

Meanwhile, if you can't get'em off with Windows, you can't get'em off
with linux, something's flaky - so if the file system is corrupted on
the card, ain't no other way - sorry to say...

If, perchance, the camera and card were xray'ed, there's a good chance
that the file system was hosed at that point...
