i know that in order for the mbr to be rewritten properly by linux in a dual boot system, the ms-win OS of choice must be installed before doing a linux install. but if i go and format out my ms-win OS and reinstall it (i'm using win98), will the mbr be rewritten and i won't be able to get back into linux? and if that does happen, how do i get the mbr re-written so i can access linux again? i've been looking for an answer to this but can't seem to find it, and win98 needs to be re-installed as i'm having massive problems with it. (and i wish i could make this a microsoft free computer, but currently i can't)
Thanks Mike
