Tony, Thanks very much for your reply. I decided to try 9.0 - it's working for you so it seemed worth a shot. I got the 9.0 LM and installed it, after reformatting all the Linux partitions. The installation program didn't install ethernet. After installing I ran the same rpm again. I got a message like "Sorry, these drivers are for a different architecture."
I'm fairly confused now, although lately, for me, that is more or less a permanent condition anyway. Willing to try any further suggestions you or other readers may have. Thanks!
