its tight vnc SERVER not the client... ;)

i installed mdk again yesterday and the dialogue in the controlcenter is gone away... i'm happy know buts its a bit strange... i'll take a screenshot when i'm at home, bye

on my last installation of mdk9.1, there were a lot of configurable settings for tight vnc available, now there artent there. i installed last time the rpm from www.tightvnc.org, it did work correctly without any troubles.
this time, a lot isnt working on my new installation... xmms, opera, k3b and many other programs dont work correctly... i think it is the best thing to reinstall mdk. maybe i did anything wrong, this is possible! what do you think? do i need to install mdk again? i can't say why the programs aren't working, and i dont know how to get some logfiles and stuff...

Am I missing something here or what?


I use VNC constantly - every day - have no choice - what's so hard about
typing in:

vncviewer XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:1 and then the password...?
