Um - that was never a "first" for Microsoft, mate. Mozaic was able to do
that many years ago.

Most other browsers will do exactly the same thing, but instead of
creating a proprietary "file type archive" - they save the main page,
then create a subdirectory that then contains all the images and other
bits'n'bobs of the page...which makes it easier to access and modify to
suit.
