It should work. What do you mean by 'won't recognise'? Does /mnt/removable get created? If so, try to mount it: "mount /mnt/removable". As root, Run "tail -f /var/log/messages" and plug it in. Does something happen? (CTRL-C to end this). Richard -- "Get up and turn I loose"
