sorry, that is just too funny. This is an ancient and ongoing debate on
may Open Source software projects, ie. the users want the developers to
"fix" their software to work with broken hosts, like ISP mail servers,
websites, and the like.

So we should *encourage*  people to use broken software by incorporating
extra code to allow for said broken software?

Not bloody likely.
