Last night, I installed Mandrake 6.1 on a separate 4.3 gig HD. The install went fine but when I try using my boot disk (I haven't installed LILO or Loadlin yet), Mandrake doesn't boot. It gives me a "0x10" or "0x40" type error and then dies. Is this indicative of a bad boot disk or something more serious? My "C" drive is a 18 gig HD (pure Win98 at this point) and the "D" drive is a 4.3 gig Seagate (pure Linux). Thanks in advance.
