I asked this question a few days ago but got no replies. I'm not sure if that's because there were no replies or a list problem (for about 24 hrs I got no mail in the newbie list and only a trickle from expert when I would have seen any replies).

In the meantime someone told me to try adding ""echo -en "\033(U"" to my bash_profile and that has worked when I'm using one of the <CTRL> <ALT> <F?> consoles but I would like to make that work in Konsole so I can just open Konsole from the desktop. Anyone know how to do that?
