If you want to run WinXP, you'll have to go VMWare, which was not bought by MS BTW, Connectix is the name of the company that MS bought and there product is called Virtual PC. VMWare is still independent AFAIK, but it is expensive. If you bought a PowerPack, you'll get a 30 day license and you can also get a trial license from the vmware website.
