O.K., I did what you said, and it seems to work, however I still have some questions: Why do I install the new kernel without removing the old one? What do I need to have the old one for? Can I remove it after the new one is installed? If I can, does that mean I need to take the reference of to it out of my lilo.conf and rerun /sbin/lilo?
