Same here, logitech optical mouse, usb, with ps2 adaptor. No problem on 9.2 
and none after update 10rc1. Not sure what fixed it in 10 because I am 
running cooker and it was a bunch of auto-selects ago. But it should work as 
a generic ps2 wheelmouse. HTH
