I would think so.  I've never had to do it, and I'm speaking from
memory, but I do always use the expert mode, as it gives you more
flexibility.  You can afford to go in an look for yourself, because
nothing has been written to disk from the installation at that point.
Until you actually tell it to shrink the partition or whatever you
can back out without any risk.  HTH

Ok I just went and booted CD1 for 9.2 install.  There is a screen with two
options Install and F1 for help.  Clicking on install goes directely to
install this is what I normally use.  So I pushed F1.  And got an install
help screen it lists 4 options vgalo, text, linux, expert also a little
later rescue.  There is no mention of shrinking the windows partition
anywhere on the page,  there is an option for another help page F2.  Pushed
F2 and find 2 aditional options vgahi, vga16, again no mention of shrinking
windows.
I dont use expert because it is likely dangerous, at lease for me, since I
dont have a clue as to what options I will be asked to select.
